KITSILANO STUDIO
Dena’s adorable Kitsilano studio apartment was lacking a sense of separation and stylization. She was struggling to create a functional layout and enjoy her space, which led to her rarely having gatherings or friends over. Her home felt more like just a place to crash, rather than an apartment she was proud to share. Stuck in her décor and unsure where to go in reflecting who she is now, all on a tight budget, Dena reached out to me to explore her options.
As soon as I walked into Dena’s space, I immediately envisioned what the layout could be! I wanted to create distinct rooms and areas that complement Dena’s femme, sophisticated style.
By re-styling some lovely pieces she already had, with the addition of a vanity, décor, lighting, poppy fun prints, and some serious Facebook Marketplace scores, we created a stylized, functional, adult studio apartment that is a vibe she can’t wait to come home to and share with her friends and family.
